 Medicaid Managed Care  

►►The month of June is open enrollment for families who are receiving Covered Families/Covered Children Medicaid.  If you are interested in changing your current Managed Care Provider contact the Enrollment Center at 800-605-3040 by June 30, 2008

 

Managed Care Plans (MCPs) cover Medicaid consumers.  The Ohio Medicaid managed care program currently operates under a 1915(b) waiver approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is administered by the
Bureau of Managed Health Care (BMHC).

BMHC is responsible for the development, administration, and assessment of the Ohio Medicaid Managed Care Program. The responsibilities of BMHC are centered around enrolling and disenrolling Medicaid consumers into and from MCPs, assuring access to quality health services, and monitoring MCP performance.
