Child Support Enforcement Division

Our Mission

The Holmes County Child Support Enforcement Team works with families, the legal system and our community to promote family stability through establishing and enforcing parentage and support orders.

The Child Support Enforcement Program is a Federal, State, and Local effort to collect child support from parents who are legally obligated to provide financial support.

Child Supports goals are threefold:

  • To insure that children are supported by their parents;

  • To foster family responsibility;

  • To reduce the costs of public assistance to the taxpayer.

Child Support Enforcement programs locate non-custodial parents, establish paternity, establish and enforce support and medical orders.
